We left Tam Dao early in the morning and arrived at the hotel in Sapa around 4 pm. The journey took over 5 hours, including stops for restroom breaks. The shops along the way were very overpriced; they took advantage of the chaos, didn't count the money properly, gave incorrect change, and the prices were significantly higher than advertised. It's best to just use the restrooms if possible.

The accommodation is beautiful and right next to the red train going to Fansifan, which you can see from the balcony of your room. The room prices are affordable, ranging from 1000-1500 baht. There's also a restaurant nearby. Cat lovers will probably like this place because there are many cats.
