The journey took over 5 hours, including stops for restroom breaks. Shops along the way overcharged, and due to the chaos, they often gave incorrect change and the prices were significantly higher than advertised. It&#039;s best to just use the restrooms if possible. L\u00e1 \u0110\u1ecf Homestay &amp; Coffee (Map: Click) is a beautiful accommodation with a view of the red train going to Fansifan, visible from the balcony. Rooms are reasonably priced between 1000-1500 baht. The accommodation and restaurant are great, and cat lovers will appreciate the many cats. This year we traveled to Vietnam by plane; the flight was short, only two hours. There were 8 of us in total. We used a tour company for transportation to various locations, but we still planned the rest of the trip independently. Review of Vietnam Airlines: A full-service airline. The seats were okay, not cramped, a 3-3 configuration. The food was average but tasty. Flights were on time, and you could ask the flight attendants for beer. Tamdao \u2013 Hola Homestay: Booked through Booking.com. I give it almost perfect marks. The accommodation was very clean, including the bathrooms. The caretaker didn&#039;t speak English, but we communicated using Google Translate. You can order food from the homestay. We stayed there for two nights during the winter, where the temperature was 10-15 degrees Celsius. There was a lot of dew and fog at night. Hola Homestay has a pho restaurant in front of the homestay that sells only pho: beef and chicken pho. It was delicious, the broth was excellent. 50,000 VND per bowl. A hot bowl of pho was perfect on a cold morning. The chili peppers don&#039;t look spicy, but they&#039;re actually very hot. We rented a motorbike to explore Tam Dao. We used a motorbike rental service through our accommodation. If you&#039;re following this route, I recommend specifying that you want a new, good-condition motorbike. The one we got was in terrible condition; the brakes wouldn&#039;t work even when pressed all the way down, and you had to stomp on the gears to get it to engage. Most motorbikes here are Honda Waves. You don&#039;t need a driver&#039;s license; just drive according to the rules. Everything is the opposite of Thailand, especially the roads. Cars drive on the left. The difficulty of driving was as expected \u2013 incredibly chaotic. Overtaking on the left, parking on the right, pedestrians crossing, cars parked \u2013 everything happens at once. The technique is to just go with the flow and ignore everyone; they&#039;ll be careful themselves. That concludes our two-night trip to Tam Dao. After this, we had no plan because we had already made a 7-day trip with a plan the whole time. We let the rest go. In the morning, we searched for places we wanted to go to at that time. We concluded that we wanted to go shopping at a local market, and we found Sasebo Local Market. The parking lot is on the opposite side of the parking lot, and it is a market about a kilometer away: \u3055\u305b\u307c\u56db\u30f6\u753a\u5546\u5e97\u8857. Last night&#039;s business was quite heavy, so this morning we were confused and dazed, almost funny that we did not save the map. We relied on the GPS from the photos. Irodori Hotel Sai Map This is the accommodation we found at a very affordable price. It is two-story. The lower floor is for eating, storing bags and bathroom. The upper floor is a wide space for sleeping everywhere. Very clean. I got it for around 2,500 baht per night. It can sleep more than 4 people. There is a paid parking lot in the alley behind. There is a 7-Eleven about 100 meters away. You can walk to a shopping mall but it is quite a lot. Most importantly, it is not crowded. It is as quiet as a graveyard, which I like a lot. After dropping off, our plan today is to drive to Ohori Park and Huis ten Bosch. Ohori Park, we intended to have a chill Starbucks coffee at Ohori Park... and then we parked in the wrong place. We didn&#039;t get to Starbuck&#039;s, only a coffee shop in the park. But we had to just let it go. It&#039;s actually good, it&#039;s like letting go of the joystick and letting go of this place. There is a space where we can let go, not chaotic, not messy, quiet, just sit and float away. Most importantly, the weather is very cold. A cup of hot Americano can extend your life. Karatsu Castle \u5510\u6d25\u57ce Map: Karatsu Castle \u5510\u6d25\u57ce We stopped by Karatsu Castle first before going to the hotel and amusement park. It seemed like something was blocking our vision while finding the parking lot, even though it&#039;s on the opposite side of the castle. Follow the path and turn right and go up the stairs. But we chose left and got lost behind a high school. We stood and watched the children doing activities. The walkway to the castle is a long staircase with hundreds of steps. It made us out of breath, but the view from up is very beautiful. It\u2019s worth the climb. It\u2019s cold and windy. P.S. Seniors are not recommended. Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch, Haneda Sakai Map: hotel okura JR We chose to stay here because it\u2019s next to the amusement park. There\u2019s a Lawson downstairs where you can come down and chill and buy beer at night. We arrived at the hotel around 3 pm. We accidentally parked the wrong car again. We ended up parking in the amusement park\u2019s lot, which was closest to the hotel. If we looked at Google Maps, we thought we\u2019d park here until we found out when we checked in. The staff asked us where we were parking. We said ahead and pointed. They said that it is not a hotel and the parking fee is very expensive if you arrive in the morning and it is over 2,000 baht (we found out the price in the morning because we inserted the wrong card into the machine when we exited). So the staff gave us a new card. When we went out, we parked next to the hotel and let them insert it into the machine so we wouldn\u2019t be charged. We took our bags up to the room and were ready to go to the amusement park. The hotel reviews are very good, very beautiful. The staffs are very attentive. Our room was opposite the room with ice. The breakfast area was beautiful but we didn\u2019t eat it. 10\/10 Huis Ten Bosch recommends having more than half a day because there is a lot of space and it is not possible to walk around. We arrived quite late and intended to watch the fireworks but we missed it. We walked to a different spot and didn\u2019t see the fireworks again. There is also a hotel inside. You can sleep there. The rides are quite good but they can\u2019t compare to Disneyland. This place is beautiful in a European style. Any rides related to water are very well done. The lights are very beautiful at night. This trip we traveled with Emirates Airlines. We got a promotional price of around 6xxx on an afternoon flight. The seats were comfortable according to the standards of a full-service airline. There was a screen to watch movies. We finished one movie just in time to arrive in Hong Kong. The food on the plane was average, leaning towards bland, following international standards. When we arrived at the airport, we decided to use the Klook car service to take us to the hotel. The driver asked us to add his WhatsApp to communicate information about waiting for the car. The cost was around 1xxx. The Alpha van took us to Travelodge Kowloon Hotel. We didn\u2019t take any pictures of the hotel review, but overall, it was okay for the price of 2400 per room per night. The room was clean and there was no cigarette smell, but there was a little bit of walking. The only downside was that there was only one elevator and it was small enough for 2-3 people, so we had to wait quite a while. The location of the hotel is good, it\u2019s next to a 7-Eleven. On the opposite side is a street food street. In the evening, we walked to Tsim Sha Tsui to find something to eat. We didn\u2019t plan which restaurant to go to. Let\u2019s just say that we went to any restaurant that looked good. We ended up going to the Xiao Long Bao restaurant\u2026it was very good\u2026the soup was very fragrant. And in the same area, next to it, I found a noodle shop. It was also good. I waited in line for a while. Day 2 Nong Ping \u2013 Tai O Village We arrived early. It was raining so it wasn&#039;t too hot, but there were already people waiting to buy tickets. We waited for about 1 hour before we could go up. We bought tickets from Klook. I highly recommend it. It&#039;s faster than walking up the stairs to worship the Big Buddha. My legs almost fell off. On the way up the cable car, I saw a path that kept going up the mountain and then I came across Ngong Ping. So I tried searching for information. In conclusion, it was walkable. So I told the Big Buddha that if I had to follow my goal, I would have to walk up the mountain to worship again. But in fact, I should do it at least once in my life before I get too old to walk. Nong Ping Tai O Village When I arrived at Tai O Village It&#039;s very hot. For those who come to visit in the mid-year summer, I recommend bringing survival gear such as fans, cooling sprays, wet cloths. There are quite a few riverside cafes, but many were closed when we went, so we tried searching on Google Maps until we found it. We were not disappointed. The taste was good. After leaving the village, we stopped by Citygate Outlets and took the BTS back. Street food near our accommodation in Kowloon: Street Food Kowloon. I can&#039;t remember the name of the shop, but it&#039;s in that area. It&#039;s hard to communicate, you just have to type. These shops are outdoors so they smell a lot of cigarettes, but the taste is delicious. The stir-fried chili and salt menus or spicy food with beer are ten out of ten. On the third day, we worshiped. As for the sacred things, we apologize. We have no knowledge of the methods or details. We went to worship as usual, like worshiping and asking for a blessing like we do at home. But we met a tour group from Thailand who were very spiritual. They came with everything, going left and right. So we followed them as much as we could. Nan Lian Garden Map: Nan Lian Garden It was quite discouraging to find it because when we were there, construction was underway and the main entrance was closed, forcing us to go around. Then we went to another walk and circled around until we found the entrance. The garden is very beautiful, clean and orderly. On the opposite side, there is a shopping mall to cool down. I recommend going on a sunny day. For the riverside viewpoint, I recommend finding a place to cool your butt because you will have to wait a long time. The beer shop is far away. If you go, buy some to make it worth it. Oh, and bring some ice because it will not be cold when you get back. Or you can bring a cold glass, which will do the job. After waiting for the symphony to start for a bit, it would be better to walk back to the room to find some beers. Here, you can order food from Grab\/Line Man. So, we tried ordering food to be delivered to the hotel. The delivery man was a guest (Bang) who rode an electric bicycle. I was confused. Can foreigners drive this? Day 4 Central Today, I will try taking the tram to see the city of Central, which I have never been to before. I took a boat across and randomly found the way to get on the tram and bus. I just randomly got off wherever I wanted. The view of this area is beautiful. It has old-school civilization. Day 4 ended. It was the first time I ate goose and it was very juicy. The next morning, I called a van to pick me up and take me to the airport. Ending a trip that is more about eating and drinking, here will focus on walking a lot. Definitely walk 10,000-20,000 steps. New Chitose Airport (Hokkaido) Airport atmosphere After getting off the plane, we walked around the airport to wait for the car pickup time.
